About State College Friends Meeting

Typical Sunday schedule
Most Sundays (not business meeting Sundays)
8:30 a.m. early meeting for worship 9:45 a.m. adult discussion (except summer) 10:45 a.m. First-Day School (except summer) 11:00 a.m. meeting for worship 11:45 a.m. children join meeting for worship 12:30 p.m. social hour
Early meeting for worship tends to be smaller and quieter than the 11:00 a.m. meeting. While currently there is no child care for this meeting, if there is sufficient demand, it will be offered.
Most Sundays (except summer months, holidays, and business meeting Sundays) an adult discussion isheld from 9:45 to 10:30 a.m. in the meeting room. During the adult discussions, child care for all ages is available in the nursery.
First Day School for children ages 3-18 meets by age group in various classrooms in the education wing and the basement. Child care is provided for infants and toddlers in the nursery.
During the social hour, soup, juice, coffee and tea are available for everyone in the social room. We hope visitors will stay and introduce themselves.
Business meeting Sunday
9:00 a.m. meeting for worship for business 10:45 a.m. First Day School (except summer) 11:00 a.m. meeting for worship 11:45 a.m. children join meeting for worship 12:30 p.m. potluckall are welcome
Once a month we hold meeting for worship for business in the meetingroom from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. Child care is available in the nursery. Early meeting for worship is not held on these Sundays.
Meeting for worship for business is usually the first Sunday of the month; sometimes it is moved to avoid holiday weekends. June business meeting is usually the second Sunday and often there is just one meeting for worship for business during July and August.
Wednesdays
Friends meet for mid-week meeting for worship, at 4:30 p.m., Darlington Meeting Room, Foxdale Village, 500 E. Marylyn Ave., State Colle, PA.
